2. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website (for example the contact and demo forms). Personal data that our customers store in Optivis Core is processed on their behalf under our customer agreement; in that case the customer is the controller and we act as processor.
3. Data we collect
- Contact details you send us: name, e-mail address and the content of your message.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected in server logs.
- For customers: account and user details needed to provide and bill the subscription.
4. How we use it
- To reply to enquiries, arrange demos and prepare quotes.
- To provide, secure and support Optivis Core for our customers.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.
5. Legal basis
We process personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021): with your consent, to take steps before or perform a contract with you, or to comply with legal obligations.
6. Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run our business (such as hosting and e-mail providers), under contracts that require them to protect it, or when the law requires it.
7. Storage and security
Data is hosted in the United States and protected with TLS encryption in transit and role-based access controls. See Security & Data for details.
8. Retention
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up, and customer data for the length of the subscription plus any period required by law.
9. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, or withdraw consent. Send requests to support@optivisconsulting.com. We will reply within the time required by law.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
